Privacy Policy

How AdultSkilledTrades.com collects, uses, and protects your information — including your rights under US, UK, EU, and Canadian law.

Effective date: July 13, 2026 · Applies to AdultSkilledTrades.com and its related services.

1. Who we are

AdultSkilledTrades.com ("we", "us") operates this website and its career tools. For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, we are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact for all privacy matters: info@adultskilledtrades.com.

2. What we collect

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How we use it

4. Legal bases (UK & EU)

Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process your data on these bases: contract (providing the account and tools you request), consent (analytics cookies; withdraw any time via the cookie banner), and legitimate interests (site security, responding to enquiries, improving our services in ways you would reasonably expect).

5. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working (login sessions, consent choice, saved preferences). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2) run only after you opt in via the consent banner shown to visitors in the UK, EU, and other consent regions. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies or revisiting the banner. We do not use advertising cookies.

Our services are hosted in the United States. If you use the site from the UK, EU/EEA, or Canada, your data is transferred to the US. For UK/EU users, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where our providers are certified) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses implemented by those providers.

8. Retention

Account data and saved content are kept while your account is active. Delete your account (or ask us to) and we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (e.g. payment records). Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings (14 months). Contact-form messages are kept up to 24 months.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our providers. Access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

10. Your rights by region

🇬🇧 United Kingdom (UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

🇪🇺 European Union / EEA (GDPR) — including Germany

You have the same rights as above under the GDPR (Articles 15–21), plus the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Germany, the data protection authority (Landesdatenschutzbehörde) of your Bundesland. We respond to requests within one month. German-language summary: Datenschutzerklärung. Legal notice: Impressum.

🇨🇦 Canada (PIPEDA)

We handle personal information in line with the ten fair information principles of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act: consent, limited collection and use, accuracy, safeguards, openness, and individual access. You may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Our electronic messages comply with CASL — we send marketing email only with consent, and every message includes unsubscribe.

🇺🇸 United States

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Depending on your state (e.g. California, Colorado, Virginia), you may have rights to access, delete, and correct your data and to non-discrimination for exercising them. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
